Národní Park Podyjí
Team project monocoque was installed on a pine tree in a location called Feuerberg within the National park Podyjí in South Moravia. The surrounding areas was mythical since centuries now, pagan rituals of the celebration of the solstice were held in here and many legends are tied to this place. The construction of the monocoque was assembled by bending of slim laths over each other, forming two infinished spheres. Those were lifted up into the branches and connected with more of the laths until desired firmness of the structure was attained. To support the structure, also three steel ropes are anchored among the upper branches, lifting up the celling of the monocoque. The interior space is uniquely articulating itself throughout the penetrating sunrays in between the wooden skin elements in the flow of the time.
